Gateway Clinic
Breaks Ground On New Clinic
Facility

Gateway Clinic broke ground
this week on their new medical facility in Moose
Lake, MN. The Clinic’s administrative and medical
staff have been planning and working on the
development of the building project for the past
two years. “The project is the result of much hard
work and effort from the clinic’s physicians and
staff” noted Bill Palmer, Administrator for
Gateway Clinic. “Much thought and planning has
gone into the building design.”
Gateway purchased four acres
of land for the facility from Mercy Hospital and
Health Center earlier this year. The medical
facility will be located on the hospital campus,
providing convenient access to both the clinic and
hospital. The new facility was needed to support
growth in medical staff and services that the
clinic provides to the community.
“We have outgrown our current facility” said
Palmer. “We are excited about the opportunity to
better serve our patients and community, and our
ability to better support our physicians and their
practices.” The clinic will be approximately
20,000 square feet, which is about sixty percent
larger than the current facility. It provides
additional space to expand services in both its
clinical laboratory and diagnostic imaging areas,
expanded waiting room area, and amenities that
support patient care and privacy. The new clinic
is scheduled to open July 1st, 2004.
